David Knight, 73, a resident of Belen, passed away on Sunday, March 26, 2000. He was an old time mule skinner and pioneer born 100 years too late. David was preceded in death by his loving wife, Marcella Arlene Knight in 1998; his grandson, David Patrick Knight; his granddaughter, Tracy Knight; and also his four sisters. He is survived by his children, David Clayton Knight of Albuquerque, Micheal Wayne Knight of Los Lunas, Franklin Thomas Knight of Dallas, TX, Samuel Lee Knight of Belen, Mary Marcella Knight of Albuquerque, and Martha Arlene Knight of Farmington; his brother, Buddy Knight; and his two sisters, Dude and Nancy. He is also survived by his 14 loving grandchildren. Cremation has taken place. A Memorial service will be held on Thursday, 2:00 p.m., at Romero Funeral Home, 609 N. Main St., Belen, NM.
