Obituary for Davis

Alice"Clarita" Davis, age 72, a lifelong resident of Albuquerque, died Wednesday, February 2, 2000. She is survived by her husband, Joseph L. Davis; two daughters, Denise A. King and husband, Warren V. and Karen L. Dillon and husband, Larry A; sister, Margaret Mergen, all of Albuquerque; and three grandchildren, Terra King, Steven King and Marla Dillon. Mrs. Davis was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. Visitation will be held Sunday, February 6, 2000 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Strong-Thorne Mortuary, 1100 Coal Ave SE. A Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. Sunday in the Palm Chapel of Strong-Thorne Mortuary. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday, February 7, 2000 at 10:00 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 619 Copper Ave NW, with Father Richard W. McGowan, S.J. as celebrant. John Romero, Anthony Romero, Joseph Serrano, Jeff MacCubbin, Larry Dillon and Warren King will serve as pallbearers. Interment will follow in Mount Calvary Cemetery. Strong-Thorne Mortuary, 1100 Coal Ave SE, in charge of arrangements.
