Jean Isabel Lesea died on January 27, 2000 in Phoenix, Arizona after a five year battle with cancer. She was born December 12, 1937 in Albuquerque, where she lived most of her life, and moved to Phoenix in 1982. She graduated from Valley High School in 1956. She is survived by her husband, John; her children from her first marriage, Katherine Weber, Patricia Craft, Jeffrey Craig, and Heather Davis, and Jennifer Ames, her daughter from her second marriage. Her legacy includes six grandchildren. Mom loved to sing. Her courage in suffering and strong will extended her life well beyond what anyone thought possible. Rev. Don Benson will officiate a memorial service at Westside Baptist Church, 3021 Todos Santos NW, on February 5, 2000 at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations for the American Cancer Society, 5810 Lomas Blvd. NE, Albuquerque 87110.
