Raymond L. Dons, a resident of Albuquerque for 18 years, died January 29, 2000. He was born in Belgium on June 5, 1940 to Isidoor and August Dons. Mr. Dons was a loving father who was actively involved in his children's lives. He enjoyed his motorcycles and British cars, and was a loyal mechanic at M&M Honda for 18 years. He is survived by his widow,"Fannie" Maria Van Den Brande; his children, Danny Dons and wife, Brenda of Las Cruces, Inya Love of Albuquerque, William Dons and wife, Leigh Ann of Rio Rancho, Sandi-Lin Chavez and husband, Anthony of Albuquerque; and his grandchildren, Teresa Apodaca, Brittney Dons, Tiffany Dons-Gillespie, Nichole Love, Tyler Aragon, Cody Dons, Baby Dons, T.J. Chavez and Dustin Chavez. He is survived also by five brothers and sisters, all of Belgium, Robert Dons, Jose Dons, Lizette Dons, Willie Dons and Francis Dons. A Memorial Mass will be held at 7:00 p.m. this evening at Church of the Risen Savior, 7701 Wyoming Blvd. NE. Arrangements by Sandia Funeral Care, 7601 Wyoming Blvd. NE.
