John T. Cowie, 82, passed away Monday, July 31st. John is survived by his wife, Dorothy of 30 years; daughters, Ruth Ann Olson of Albuquerque, Helen Benton of Phoenix, AZ; son, John Cowie of Loveland, CO; two step-sons and ten grandchildren. Memorial services to celebrated his life will be held Tuesday, August 8, 10:00 a.m., at Covenant Presbyterian Church, 9315 Candelaria Rd. NE, Albuquerque. Interment will be at a later date in Fredricksburg, Virginia. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to Sandia Hospice, 4725 Indian School NE, Albuquerque, NM 87110. Cremation arrangements by the Sunrise Society of NM, 891-8200.
