Obituary for Biehl

Helen Ida Biehl passed away at St. Francis Gardens on Saturday, September 30, 2000. She was born in New York, NY on November 30, 1908. She moved to Albuquerque in 1960 due to health reasons and was a longtime resident of Encino Terrace. Mrs. Biehl is survived by her daughter, Jeannette P. Marcella of Berlin, NJ; and three grandsons, Leslie J. and William L. Marella of Berlin, NJ and Dale Marella of Griffin, GA. She also has two great-grandsons and one great-granddaughter. She was preceded in death by her husband, George F. Biehl; her parents, William A. and Caroline I. Lawrence; her brother, John T. Lawrence; sister, Dorothy Corveleyn; and one grandson, Mark A. Marella. She was a member of the ABWA, El Sequnda, Post 19, Post 49, and League of Women's Organization, VFW, Society of Military Widows, Lady Bugs, and worked at the Veteran's Hospital. In lieu of flowers, please donate to your favorite charity. A Memorial service will be held at Encino Terrace, 609 Encino Pl. NE, Albuquerque, NM, on Saturday, October 7, 2000 at 1:30 p.m. Arrangements by Sunrise Society of NM, 891-8200.
