Ruth Bresee Ashbrook, 90, a resident of Albuquerque for five years, died Tuesday, October 3, 2000. She is survived by her daughter, Deborah A. Borders and husband, James of Albuquerque; daughter-in-law, Carolyn B. Ashbrook of Glenview, IL; grandchildren, Steven M. Ashbrook and wife, Elizabeth of Minneapolis, MN, Laurel A. Tucholski and husband, Steven of Geneva, IL, and Mark R. Ashbrook of Tempe, AZ; great-grandchildren, Katherine Ashbrook, Jonathan Ashbrook, and Joseph Tucholski; sister, Louise Bresee Shappert Cowger and husband, Charles of Savoy, IL; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph W. Ashbrook in 1992; and son, Robert M. Ashbrook in 1995. Services will be held Saturday, October 7, 2000, 2:00 p.m., at Morgan Memorial Home, 1304 Regency Drive West, Savoy, IL Interment will take place in Champaign, IL.
