Obituary for Sharer

Helen (Moser) Sharer, 82, a resident of Albuquerque since 1945, died Monday, July 17, 2000 at Ladera Nursing Home while recuperating from a slight hip fracture. She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank; and her parents, Ray and Myra Moser of Huntington, W. Virginia. She is survived by her brother, Raymond Moser and wife, Juanita of Huntington, W. Virginia; nephew, William Scott Moser and wife, Cathy of Webster, NY; and great-nephews, Eric Moser of California and Geoff Moser of Colorado. Helen is survived by her special friends, Martha Ordonez, the Jarrard family, Freda Voonasis and Daphine and Patrick Tritle. Helen's life is best remembered as independent, hardworking, with a great deal of love for family and friends. She worked as a dental hygienist, a welder at Lockheed Aircraft during WWII, owned a fruit stand in Tijeras and retired from the City of Albuquerque, Water Department. She and her husband were accomplished bowlers and participated in many leagues. Helen loved to read, travel and dine at the Sirloin Stockade. Helen will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. A Memorial service will be held on Friday, July 28, 2000, 10:00 a.m., at Fitzgerald and Son Funeral Directors, 3113 Carlisle NE. Interment will follow in Santa Fe National Cemetery. Fitzgerald and Son Funeral Directors, 3113 Carlisle NE, in charge of arrangements.
