Brian Victor Smith, 55, passed away on Wednesday, March 8, 2000 in Denver, Colorado. Brian was born October 7, 1944 in Johnson City, New York, the son of Erwin James and Bernice Mildred Stoker Smith. Brian grew up in Albuquerque and graduated in the first graduating class from Manzano High School. He received his Bachelors and Masters degree from the University of New Mexico. Brian was a life Master in Bridge and a volunteer for AARP Tax Aid Program. He had resided in Denver for the past 18 years, working for the IRS. Brian is survived by one brother, Richard Smith and wife, Sharon of Danville, CA; two sisters, Patricia Lupear and husband, Danny of Concord, CA and Maureen Forrester and husband, Terry of Rio Rancho; two nephews, Michael Smith and Erik Forrester; two nieces, Bridget Wellerstein and Dawne Forrester; and three great-nephews and two great-nieces. The graveside service for Brian will be on Saturday, March 18, 2000, 10:00 a.m., at Vista Verde Memorial Park, Sara Rd., at Meadowlark Ln., Rio Rancho, with Gerry Lightwine, Pastor, officiating. Arrangements by Vista Verde Mortuary, Rio Rancho.
