Mrs. Virginia Vigil died Friday in Albuquerque at the age of 88. She is preceded in death by her husband, Filiberto Vigil; brother, Delfinio Martinez; sister, Augustina Martinez; parents, Petrita and Alfredo Martinez; son, Joe Vigil; and daughter, Mary Vigil. Mrs. Vigil is survived by her son, Santos Vigil; daughter, Crucita Gallegos; nine grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren. Memorial Services for Mrs. Vigil will be held on Monday at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church where the Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. by Father Rodriguez. Inurement will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. A Memorial Rosary was held on Sunday evening at 7:00 p.m. at Salazar and Sons Mortuary, 400 Third St. SW.
