Obituary for Hanrahan

In loving memory of Walter James Hanrahan, 68, a resident of Albuquerque since 1976. Loving husband of Arlene; beloved father to Kerry Stabe and husband, Reed, John Hanrahan, Kimberley Shelby and husband, Michael, Robert Hanrahan and wife, Amy, Kelley Schneberger and husband, Paul; beloved grandfather to Gary, Shay, Zachary, Chelsey, Katherine, Ryan and Steven; and brother to Michael Hanrahan and wife, Esther. Walter served in the Army and Air force and was a Veteran of the Korean Conflict. He retired as a Lieutenant from the Bernalillo County Sheriffs Office. He was also a member of the Masonic Lodge #68 and Santa Fe Perfection. Rosary will be recited Monday, 7:00 p.m. at French Mortuary, Wyoming Blvd. Chapel, 7121 Wyoming NE. Mass of Christian Burial will be Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. at St. Jude Thaddeus Catholic Church, 5712 Paradise Blvd. NW, with Fr. John Conway, Celebrant. Interment will follow at Santa Fe National Cemetery, Santa Fe, New Mexico. Pallbearers will be Michael Shelby, Paul Schneberger, Gary Lyons, Joe Collins, Michael Hanrahan and Richard Sawin. Friends may visit French Mortuary, 7121 Wyoming Blvd. NE, Monday from 6:00 p.m. until time of Rosary."Rest in peach in your journey into your new life."
