Winifred Ryals, 97, a resident of Rio Rancho for the past 18 years, coming from Los Alamos, passed away on Monday, August 21, 2000. Winifred was born November 19, 1902, the daughter of Henry and Rosa Eiserman Lauramore in Glen St. Mary, Florida. She had been a secretary for the railroad for 20 years before retiring. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; and five brothers and sisters. Winifred is survived by her daughter, Marjorie Staake of Rio Rancho; two grandchildren, Bruce Staake of Albuquerque and Patricia Ulsh of Silver City, NM; five great-grandchildren, Kristin Cashman of Albuquerque, Jennifer Luck of Austin, TX, Judy McCreadie of Ft. Collins, CO, Benjamin Warren of Littlefield, TX, and Mark Staake of Albuquerque; and five great-great-grandchildren. The service for Winifred will be on Thursday, August 24, 2000, 10:00 a.m., at the First Baptist Church of Rio Rancho, with Pastor Si Budagher officiating. Entombment will be in the Floral Garden Mausoleum in Vista Verde Memorial Park. Arrangements by Vista Verde Mortuary, Rio Rancho.
