Carolina"Carrie" Cuellar, 77, passed away on Monday, August 21, 2000 in Albuquerque. She was born on March 4, 1923 to Samuel and Virginia Aragon Cuellar in San Marcial, NM. She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Sam Cuellar Jr.; and granddaughter, Kimberly Cases. She is survived by her sons, Paul Cases Jr. and wife, Frances, Carlos Griego and wife, Dolores, David Griego and wife, Cathy and Richard"Chick" Griego and wife, Julie, all of Socorro; sister, Sally Hitt of Socorro; sister-in-law, Frances Cuellar of Socorro; grandchildren, Yvette Cases-Brohmer, Darryl Cases, Tanya Cases-Pyke, Juan Carlos Griego, Miguel Griego, David Griego Jr., Elaine Griego-Montoya, Rick Griego Jr., Leslie Griego and Virginia Griego; great-grandchildren, Tara Escamilla, Daniel P. Cases, Alexander Weaver-Cases, Andres Brohmer, Taylor Cases, Ashley Pyke, Zachery Cases, Cameron Cases, Michael Brohmer and Joshua L. Griego. Rosary will be recited on Wednesday, August 23, 7:00 p.m., at the San Miguel Catholic Church. Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated on Thursday, August 24, 11:00 a.m., at San Miguel, with Father Bill Sanchez as Celebrant. Interment will be in the San Miguel Cemetery. Pallbearers are Darryl Cases, Ricky Griego, David Griego Jr., Juan Carlos Griego, Miguel Griego, Sammy Cuellar and Thurman Derryberry Jr. Honorary pallbearers are Benny Baca, Vincent Pino, John Jaramillo, Ray Gavi, Lolita Padgett, Deanna Saenz and Marleen Chavez-Burns.
