Obituary for Basinger

Eloise Basinger, 91, died in Albuquerque on Wednesday, August 16, 2000. Prior to moving to Albuquerque in 1989, Eloise resided in Wichita, KS, where she was well known for her award winning decorative arts. Eloise was born in Coats, KS on July 16, 1909. She was preceded in death by husband, Clayton Basinger in 1992; sister, Kathleen Shore; brother, Boyd Shore; and grandson, Kirby Driver. Eloise is survived by her twin daughters, Jane Driver of Albuquerque and Joan Holliway and husband, Don of Queen Valley, AZ; granddaughter, Julie Holliway Gerardi of George West, TX; grandsons, Kenton Driver of Salina, KS and David Holliway of Huntington, WVA; and three great-grandchildren. Byrd Hillside Funeral Home of Wichita will be in charge of graveside.
