Obituary for Kartas

Marina Kartas-Hall, 47, was born in Santa Fe, New Mexico on May 24, 1953. She was a resident of Albuquerque for 46 years, went into the presence of her Lord and Savior on December 3, 2000. Marina was a precious and Godly example of the Lords power, love, wisdom, and joy. She fought the good fight of faith courageously and is now rejoicing with Jesus her Lord, whom she loved. Marina devoted her entire life to her four children by home schooling them, teaching them the ways of the Lord and giving them the best childhood any child could ever have. Marina touched many, many people with her outgoing personality, and with her giving loving spirit. Her laughter brought a smile to everyones heart. She was greatly loved and deeply respected by all those who knew her. She attended Glorybound Church. Marina is survived by her husband, Marty; children, Tirzah D. Hall, Nathan D. Hall, Ethan M. Hall and Taralah M. Hall; mother, Georgia P. Kartas of Albuquerque; sister, Eleni Maull and husband, Matt Maull of Albuquerque; niece, Olivia A. Maull of Albuquerque; aunt, Helen Chirigos of Albuquerque; special cousins, Vicki and Harry Moskos of Knoxville, Tennessee, and numerous extended relatives. Services will be held on Wednesday, December 6, 2000, 2:00p.m. at French Mortuary, Wyoming Chapel, 7121 Wyoming Blvd. NE. The family wishes to express their heartfelt thanks to all those friends who prayed, brought food and showed love, kindness and comfort.
