John F."Jack" Haley, age 79, a resident of since August 1961, died February 29, 2000. He was preceded in death by his sisters, Francis Brown and Margaret Crossman. He is survived by his wife, Hilda Irene; sons, John Haley and wife, Pamela, James Haley of California; daughter, Karen and husband, Jim Bonillo of New Jersey; grandchildren, Jamie Lynn, Brooke Suzanne, Rachel Ann, Tripper John, Michael James and Taylor Ross. Mr. Haley retired after 26 years in the US Navy with 18 service medals and was a member of the Elks Lodge 461. Visitation will be held Thursday, March 2, 2000, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., at Fitzgerald and Sons Funeral Directors, 3113 Carlisle NE. A Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m., Thursday, March 2, 2000 in the chapel of Fitzgerald and Son Funeral Directors. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m., Friday, March 3, 2000, at Queen of Heaven Catholic Church. Interment will take place Monday, March 6, 2000 at 1:00 p.m. in Santa Fe National Cemetery. Fitzgerald and Son Funeral Directors, 3113 Carlisle NE, in charge of arrangements.
