Lawrence Ray Martin Miera, 29, a resident of Albuquerque, was called to serve the Lord on July 3, 2000. He is survived by his father, Larry Miera and his mother, Yolanda Montalvo; and his brothers, Sergio Torrez, Andrew Miera, Juan Diego Miera; and sister, Victoria Miera; his grandmother, Jennie Miera; several aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Jose and Cecilia Montalvo; and his aunt, Mary Lou Tapia. Lawrence coached several basketball teams and led them to championships. He received awards for swimming, coaching and Patient of the Year at Health South Rehabilitation Center. Services are pending.
