David Brigss, Ph.D., originally from Albuquerque, went to his heavenly home on June 26, 2000. A service to remember David and praise God for the gift of his life will be conducted at Lunn's Colonial Funeral Home in Wichita Falls on Thursday, June 29, at 11:00 a.m. Born March 25, 1950, David had been a radio broadcaster for over 30 years. He was a talented engineer and served the Lord at a number of radio stations through the years. In 1976, he built a radio station KLYT; for 16 years he served as chief engineer for KCBI in Dallas; and since 1993 he managed KTEO Radio in Wichita Falls, which broadcasts Christian programming for children. He is survived by his wife, Janet of Wichita Falls; his father, Floyd O. Briggs of Albuquerque; mother, Ruth White Briggs of Fort Worth; sister, Sherrill Lynn Briggs of Fort Worth; and brother, Michael and his wife, Deborah of Albuquerque; as well as many other family and friends.
