Dorothy Marie Whitt went home to be with the Lord and to be reunited with her husband, Harvey, Sunday, June 25, 2000. She was born April 4, 1933 in Spencer, OK. Mrs. Whitt married September 6, 1951 to Harvey M. Whitt who preceded her in death January 26, 1990. She is survived by her children, James L. Whitt Sr, David R. Whitt, Sharon I. Lee, and Jeffrey L. Whitt; grandchildren, James L. Whitt Jr., Melissa Marie Turner, Jason R. Howell, Christopher Whitt, and Heather Whitt; great-grandchildren, Michael Neumann and Jacob Howell; brothers, James E. Lee, Millard G. Lee, and Bobby O. Lee; sisters, Lois McKinney, Carol Waldrop, and Gayle Ford; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by her father, James Leonard Lee, mother, Lilly Maybell Lee, and brother, George Leon Lee. Dot was well loved and will be sorely missed by all. Services will be held Wednesday, June 28, 2000, 2:00 p.m., at French Mortuary, Lomas Blvd. Chapel, 10500 Lomas Blvd. NE, with Pastor Lemuel Boyles officiating. Interment will take place in Ft. Gibson National Cemetery in Ft. Gibson, OK. Friends may visit French Mortuary, 10500 Lomas Blvd. NE, Wednesday, June 28, 2000, 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
