Obituary for Shultz

Joseph"Joe" Shultz, 79, a resident of Camlu Assisted Living for the last 2 years, died Saturday, June 24, 2000. He is survived by his daughter, Judith S. Garner and husband, Gerald of Albuquerque; granddaughter, Stacy Wisniewski and husband, David of Albuquerque; grandsons, Gerald Garner Jr. and wife, Charone of Chloride, NM, and Joseph P. Garner and fiancé, Kelly Ozment of Albuquerque; sister, Anne Cox of New Albany, Indiana; nephews, Larry Cox and wife, Carol, of Lanesville, Ind, and John Carmickle and wife, Jerri of San Diego, CA; and niece, Linda Davis and husband, Danny of Greenville, Ind. His wife, Lena"Jenny" Brunson Shultz preceded him in death on November 7, 1997. He was born in Beaver Dam, Kentucky on July 21, 1920. He worked for Southern Pacific Railroad, as a switchman, in El Paso, until his retirement when he moved to Hot Coffee, Mississippi. In November of 1997, he moved to Albuquerque to be close to his daughter and family. He was a beloved father and grandfather, who's daughter and son-in-law and grandchildren enjoyed his 21/2 years in Albuquerque and will deeply miss him. Graveside Services will be held in Taylorsville, Mississippi on Thursday, June 29, 2000, 10:00 a.m., at the Fellowship Baptist Church Cemetery.
