Martha Bernal passed away on Saturday, June 24th at a local hospital. She was preceded in death by her beloved father and brother, David Sr. and David Jr. Martha is survived by her parents, Joe and Antonia Davalos; one daughter, Yvette Patterson; two sons, Eric and Jason Patterson; and her partner, Kenny Quintana. She is also survived by five grandchildren, Anthony Polacho, Mariah and Erica Armijo, Jason Patterson Jr., and Brianna Velasquez; five sisters, Kathleen, Sondra and husband, Alan, Lorraine and husband, Rueben, Annette and husband, Richard, and Pauline and husband, Arny; one brother, Larry and wife, Judy; and one sister-in-law, Geraldine Bernal. Friends may visit today, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., in the Chapel of Alameda Mortuary. A Rosary will be recited this evening at 7:00 p.m. also in Alameda Chapel. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, this morning, 9:00 a.m., at St. Bernadette Catholic Church. Reverend Father Gumpal officiating. Pallbearers will be Phil Velasquez, Richard Martinez, Stanley Patterson, and Aaron and Adam Sumner, John Pacheco. Honorary pallbearers are Todd Bernal, Zach Lopez, Anthony Polacho, and Jason Patterson Jr. Interment to follow at the Mt. Calvary Catholic Cemetery. Services are entrusted to Alameda Mortuary 9420 4th St. NW, Albuquerque, NM 87114, Gary F. Santillanes C.F.S.P.
