Felicia E. Tyler Benton, (1901-2000), a resident of Albuquerque since 1949, passed away in her home Thursday, June 22, 2000. She was preceded in death by her husband, M. Warren Benton, he was a former district manager with Equitable Life Assurance Company. Felicia was a member of Chapter V, P.E.O. and First Presbyterian Church. She is survived by her two daughters, Marian J. Tonjes of Albuquerque and Carolyn B. Grant of Riverside, CA; five grandchildren, Jeff and Ken Tonjes, Alan and Doug Grant, Alison Grant-Carlos; and five great-grandchildren. Born in Cortland, NY, she resided after marriage in Upper Montclair, NJ and East Marion, Long Island, NY, before moving to Albuquerque. Private services were held in her garden with Rev. Carl Soderberg officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to First Presbyterian Church, Deacons Fund, 215 Locust NE, 87102 or to P.E.O.
