Jewel Wellman, 83, passed away peacefully at Valle Norte Caring Center, Thursday, August 10, 2000. She was a long time resident of Albuquerque. She was the daughter of Geoffrey and Lula Dean of Moriarty. She is survived by four children, Carol Fischer of Iowa, Mary Schlegel of Lubbock, TX, Eva Espinosa of Albuquerque and Marty Wellman of Albuquerque; ten grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren. One sister, Velma Hohlbein of Boca Raton, Florida. She was a member of Alameda Baptist Church. Graveside Services will be held 12:30 p.m. on Monday, August 14, 2000 at the Moriarty City Cemetery.
