Edwin C. Schwenke, 85, a resident of Albuquerque since 1947, died Friday, August 11, 2000. He is survived by his daughter, Deborah A. Webb and husband, Bruce of Albuquerque; son, Bruce Schwenke of Las Cruces, grandchildren, Heath Webb and wife, Susannah of Albuquerque, Aaron Schwenke of Denver, CO, Stacy Webb and Cortney Schwenke, both of Albuquerque; great-granddaughter, Jordyn Webb of Albuquerque. He was preceded in death by his wife, Grace E. Schwenke. Mr. Schwenke was an US Army Veteran of WWII. He retired from Civil Service at Kirkland Air Force Base. Services will be held Monday, August 14, 2000, 10:30 a.m., at French Mortuary, Lomas Blvd. Chapel, 10500 Lomas Blvd. NE, with Rev. Jim Turner officiating. Interment will take place at 1:00 p.m., at Santa Fe National Cemetery. Friends may visit French Mortuary, 10500 Lomas Blvd. NE, Sunday, August 13, 2000, 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
