Dorothy G. Printz, 89, of Albuquerque, died August 9, after a long illness. She was born Dorothy Greenwald on June 3, 1911 in New York City. She married the late Philip A Printz, M.D. in 1937, and they resided in New York City and New Rochelle, NY until moving to Albuquerque in 1976. She devoted many years of her life to charitable works for the Ruth Kirzon Society and Hadassah. Dorothy Printz is survived by her son, Joseph L. Printz, formerly of Albuquerque, and recently of Boulder, CO; her daughter, Catherine Herman of Raleigh, NC; her sister, Pearl Adler of Great Neck, NY; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 9:30 a.m. on Monday, August 14, at Fairview Memorial Park. Contributions can be made to Albuquerque Hadassah.
