In Loving Memory of TIMOTHY HOOPER 1955-1999POPPA TIMI had a big brother; his name was Poppa Tim. When we were small, he was my all, He took care of my every whim.I had a big brother; his name was Poppa Tim. His eyes did not work, But his heart was so large. There was a place for all to come in.I had a big brother; his name was Poppa Tim. His passion was music & he loved a bad joke. He shared both with those who Came to know him.I had a big brother; his name was Poppa Tim. He was too good for this earth, Now the angels have him.I had a big brother; his name was Poppa Tim.-Helen Lucero August, 1999THE BOY NEXT DOOR-By Mary Helen HallThe boy next door cannot see But plays the guitar So beautifully. He and his dog live there alone, His family keeps in touch Mostly by phone.Being alone and in the dark Must be traumatic And surely, no lark.Tim works and plays with a smile On his face, Accepting his fate With charming grace.Do not complain when things Aren't right, Just think of Tim's days Which are all like night.
