He retired from Continental Airlines in 1985. He was a volunteer at St. Joseph's Hospital and very active in Senior Softball. He was a lifelong member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. John was a devoted husband, daddy and papa and will live in our hearts forever. Cremation has taken place. A rosary will be recited Sunday evening at 7:00 p.m. at French's Mortuary on University. A memorial mass will be celebrated on Monday morning at 10:00 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Church. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to a charity of your choice in John's name. The family would like to express their gratitude for the loving care and compassion received by the staff at the Heart Hospital of New Mexico.
