Obituary for Apodaca

Abe Apodaca, 78, a lifelong resident of Albuquerque, died Friday, November 17, 2000. He is survived by his son, Ruben Hernandez of Albuquerque; and sister, Elvira Sedillo of Las Cruces, NM; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother and father, Pedro and Eufelia Apodaca; brothers, Jose, Pedro and Federico Apodaca; sisters; Erinea Jaramillo, Refugia Birner and Brigida Armijo. Abe was born March 23, 1922 in Val Verde, NM. He worked for Price's Valley Gold and Borden's Dairies for over 25 years. For those who met him, they liked him. For those who knew him, they loved him. May he rest in peace. Rosary will be held Tuesday, 7:00 p.m. , at French Mortuary, University Blvd. Chapel, 1111 University Blvd. Chapel. Mass will be held Wednesday, 9:00 a.m., at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary, 5415 Fortuna Rd, NW with Fr. Gene Gries, O.Pream, Celebrant. Interment will take place at Santa Fe National Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Tony Romero, Silas Lucero, Randy Lucero, Jacob Sedillo, Mike Duran and Vincente Hernandez. Friends may visit French Mortuary, 1111 University Blvd. Tuesday, at the rosary.
