Vanessa Van Cleave, age 41, passed away peacefully in her sleep Saturday November 11, 2000. She is survived by her mother and best friend, Jo Ann Van Cleave; sisters, Tacy Van Cleave and husband Robert Warder, and Vickie McGinley all of Albuquerque; brother, Kevin Van Cleave and wife Janet of White Rock; nephews, Robert and Eli McGinley of Albuquerque, and Ryan Van Cleave of White Rock; niece, Cameron Van Cleave of White Rock; Aunt, Karen Welli of Rio Rancho; Cousin, Susan Welli of Portland; and many other relatives. Vanessa was preceded in death by her father, Robert Van Cleave. Vanessa will be remembered by her great sense of humor, her love of travel, the beach, and of NASCAR racing. She was a very gifted person and held a variety of positions in her working career. Cremation will take place. Memorial services will be announced later in the week. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in memory of Vanessa to Presbyterian Hospice Patient Care Fund, 8100 Constitution NE, Albuquerque, NM 87110.
