Betty Darling Riffe, 59, beloved matriarch, passed away at her residence on November 7, 2000. Betty was born in Bernalillo, NM. and was a resident of Slidell, LA. She is survived by her husband, Estil Baughn; son, Robert Baughn of New Orleans; daughters, Sheila Dees of New Orleans, Patricia Stevens of Las Lunas, NM. and Carla Prokop of Drifting, PA; mother, Dorothy May Riffe of Albuquerque, NM; sister, Nadine Riffe of Albuquerque, NM.; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 11, 2000 at Salazar and Sons 400 Third St. SW.
