John W.Jack McCauley, 83, an Albuquerque resident since 1929, died Tuesday, November 7, 2000. He is survived by his wife, Helen L. McCauley of Albuquerque; son, Keith McCauley of Newport Beach, CA; daughter, Sherrie Lynn Herbert and husband, Larry of Egypt; three grandchildren; sister, Gladys Gosche of Denver, CO. Mr. McCauley was a 50-year member of Ballut Abyud Shrine and was a US Army veteran of WWII having served in the South Pacific and Asiatic campaigns. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, November 9, 2000 at French Mortuary, Lomas Blvd Chapel, 10500 Lomas Blvd. NE, with Chaplain Lemuel Boyles, Col (Ret), USAF, officiating. Interment will follow at the Santa Fe National Cemetery, Santa Fe, NM. Friends may visit from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, November 8, 2000 at French Mortuary, 10500 Lomas Blvd,NE.
