Obituary for Martinez

Julia Andazola Martinez, 92, beloved wife, mother, grandmother and sister was called home to be with the Lord, Tuesday, November 7, 2000 while surrounded by her loving family. Mrs. Martinez came from a family which were early pioneers to settle in Dawson, NM. She was a resident of Albuquerque and a parishioner of St. Therese Little Flower Catholic Church. She is survived by her loving husband of 67 years, Bernardino Martinez of the family home; two sons, Henry Reza and wife, Mary Frances, Rudy Martinez and wife, Mary both of Albuquerque; 12 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren; also surviving are one brother, Simon Andazola and wife, Martha of Albuquerque; three sisters, Lupe Grano, Beatrice McSweeney, Mary McDaniel; and several nieces and nephews. She will be greatly missed by her loving family. Visitations will be Thursday from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in the chapel of Garcia Mortuary, where a Wake Service will be conducted at 7:00 p.m. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Friday at 10:00 a.m. at St. Therese Little Flower Catholic Church. Graveside services will be conducted Saturday morning at 10:00 a.m. at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Casket bearers will be Albert Martinez, Dino Martinez, Leroy Martinez, Patrick Reza, Veron Reza and Rose Marie Reza. Funeral Services are in the care of Garcia Mortuary, 717 Stover Ave., S.W.
