Ellen R."Mom" Davis, 76, a resident of Albuquerque for 20 years, passed away November 7, 2000. She was an active member of a fund-raising organization-United Court of the Sandias, Friend of EMCC, and beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She is survived by her family in Albuquerque, Andy Davis, Linda Davis and Michael Shell; daughters, Rosemary Miller of New England, Jennie Logsden of Texas, Penny Woods of Ohio, Katherine Suzanne Davis of Kansas; son, James Davis Jr. of Texas; ten grandchildren; one great-grandchild. Visitation for Mrs. Davis will be Friday, November 10, 2000 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Hillcrest Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 11, 2000, 2:00 p.m. at Emmanuel Metropolitan Community Church, 341 Dallas NE, with Rev. Pat Langlois officiating. Mrs. Davis will be interred with her husband, Alton James Davis, at the Barrancas National Cemetery in Pensacola, FL. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions may be made to EMCC Food Band 341 Dallas NE.
