Luz Viamonte de Aragon, 87, widow of Jose Manuel, died Sunday, October 15, 2000. Her family consists of sons, Andres and wife, Lorraine of Albuquerque and Jose Basilio and wife, Sarita of Cuba; daughter, Gloria of Cuba; grandchildren, Carlo Andres of Albuquerque, Gloria Maria, Carlos Eduardo, Lourdes, Andres, and Javier, all of Havana, Cuba; five great-grandchildren; sisters, Lydia, widow of Sergio, Marta and husband, Jose, Mercedes and husband, Justo, all of Miami, FL; brother, Andres and wife, Yolanda of Miami and Candido and wife, Alicia of Puerto Rico; and sister, Daniela, widow of Eduardo of New Jersey; and sister, Gloria and husband, Enrique, both deceased formerly of Miami, FL; numerous nieces, nephews, and Fernando (su segundo hijo). She was also preceded in death by her parents, Basilio and Matilde. Luz was born August 13, 1913 in Cruces, Cuba and has lived in New Mexico the last 30 years. Rosary will be recited Tuesday, October 17, 2000, 7:00 p.m., at French Mortuary, Lomas Blvd. Chapel, 10500 Lomas Blvd. NE. Mass will be celebrated Wednesday, October 18, 2000, 10:00 a.m., at Gate of Heaven Chapel, 7500 Paseo Del Norte NE. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
