Mrs. Kay L. Loftin, age 53, of Griffin, Georgia, died Thursday at the Spalding Regional Hospital. Mrs. Loftin was born in Raton, daughter of the late Charles Bartholomew and the late Helen Paulsen Bartholomew. She was a devoted wife and mother, and was a teacher with the Griffin Spalding County School System. Survivors include husband, Steven E. Loftin; daughters, Sandra E. Loftin, MD, Lisa K. Loftin, Esquire, both of Griffin, GA; brothers, James I. Bartholomew and John J. Bartholomew, both of Albuquerque; and father-in-law and mother-in-law, Ashley and Lonetta Loftin of Albuquerque. Memorial services will be conducted Monday at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home, Rev. Paul Thomas will officiate. Entombment will be in Westwood Mausoleum. Friends may visit the family following the service and other times at the residence, 1509 Kennedy Dr. Contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 135-B Bradford Square, Fayetteville, GA 30215, in memory of Mrs. Loftin. McCullough Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
