Obituary for Harrison

John F. Harrison, 75, a resident of Albuquerque since 1990, formerly of Crompond, New York, died Saturday, November 27, 1999. He is survived by his children, Soctt Harrison of California, Dean Harrison of New York and Jo Ann D'Andrea of Virginia; his former wife, Elizabeth Schweizer of California; and three grandchildren, Luke Harrison, Mariel D'Andrea and Grace D'Andrea. His wife, Catherine L. Harrison preceded him in death. Mr. Harrison served in the U.S. Army in WWII as a Tank Commander in the 80th Tank Batallion of the 8th Amored. He retired from the Army National Guard in 1976 with the rank of Major. Mr. Harrison was an active member of Mesa View United Methodist Church and the Optimist Club of Albuquerque, Club #19010. Memorial Services will be held Saturday, January 15, 2000 at 10:30 a.m. at French Mortuary, Wyoming Blvd. Chapel, 7121 Wyoming NE, with Rev. John Schwarting officiating. Ennichement will follow at Chester T. French Memorial Mausoleum at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul Blvd. NE. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Mesa View United Methodist Church, 4701 Montano NW, Albuquerque, New Mexico, 87120. French Mortuary, 7121 Wyoming NE.
