David M. Montoya, 42, a resident of Albuquerque, passed away. He is survived by his parents, Walter R. Montoya and Erlinda Montoya, both of Albuquerque; three brothers, Richard Montoya of Santa Fe, Mark Montoya of Albuquerque, and Paul Montoya; one sister, Dianne Brown and husband, Larry also of Albuquerque; his paternal grandmother, Lucy Montoya of Anthony, NM; maternal grandmother, Magdalena Montoya of Albuquerque; two nieces, Angelique Chavez and husband, Salvador of Santa Fe and Paula Montoya of Albuquerque; nephews, Ricky Montoya of Santa Fe and Adam Carter of Albuquerque; one grandnephew, Jerrod Chavez of Santa Fe. Mr. Montoya graduated from Valley High School and was a member of St. Therese Catholic Church. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated today, 12:00 noon, at St. Therese Catholic Church, with a cremation to follow. Pallbearers will be Richard Montoya, Mark Montoya, Paul Montoya, Larry Brown, Richy Montoya, Adam Carter. Honorary pallbearers will be Johnny Montoya and Rudy Montoya. Services are entrusted to the Alameda Mortuary, 9420 4th St. NW, Gary F. Santillanes.
