Obituary for Gylling

Alice Gylling, 87, a resident of Albuquerque, died Sunday, January 9, 2000. She is survived by her husband of 69 years, Reid Gylling of the family home; sons, Robert Eugene Gylling and wife, Charlotte of Waco, TX and Orval Reid"Buddy" Bylling Jr. and wife,Joan of golden, CO; six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren; sister, Arlene Novak and husband, Stan of California, and numerous nephews and nieces. Mrs. Gylling is preceded in death by two sisters, Ardith and Betty and two brothers, Edward and Douglas. She was born in Pagosa Springs, CO and graduated from La Jara High School. Her father was a railroad agent and they lived in many places. She married her childhood sweetheart, O. Reid Gylling on August 4, 1930. She was a wonderful seamstress and homemaker. She was a beloved wife, mother and grandmother and will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Mrs. Gylling was a member of the Order of Eastern Star. Services will be held, Thursday, January 13, 2000, 9:00 a.m. at French Mortuary, Lomas Blvd. Chapel, 10500 Lomas Blvd. NE with Pastor Rick Donaho officiating. Interment will take place at Sanford Cemetery in Sanford, Colorado. Friends may visit French Mortuary, 10500 Lomas Blvd. NE, Thursday, January 13, 2000 from 8:30 a.m. to 9:00 a.m.
