Peggy Galbreath, 70, passed into a more peaceful world on January 9, 2000. In this new world she will join her parents; son; brothers; sisters; and grandson. Her daughter, Patricia Wood Tyler and husband, Tim, survive her; also granddaughters, Sherri McDaniel and Heather Davenport; daughter-in-law, Leona Wood; great-granddaughters, Megan Nicole and Sidney Shannon; and nieces, Phyllis Dyer and Jan Bulris. Thanks to Angela Johnson at Vermont Manor for taking care of her the last two months, the staff at Vista Del Rio, where she previously resided, and Don Martinez, the hair dresser that kept her looking good. Cremation will take place at Sunrise Society. A memorial service will be held at Highland Baptist Church, 417 Palomas SE, at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 15. Pastor Winford Walker will be officiating. Family and friends are invited to come to Tish's after the service. Donations can be made to the American Lung Association.
