Carl W. Anderson (Andy), age 55, of Los Chavez, NM, passed away peacefully at Presbyterian Hospital on January 5, 2000, surrounded by his loving family. Mr. Anderson is survived by his beloved wife, Loree; mother, Bernice Anderson; son, Aaron Anderson and wife, Susan of Green Valley, CA; daughter, Loryn Lagoy of Winnetka, CA, Aaron Gonzales and wife, Kathryn of Arlington, TX and Adan Gonzales of Denver, CO. Mr. Anderson was preceded in death by his father, the late Alvar B. Anderson. Andy retired from US West in 1999 after 33 years. He will be remembered for his sense of humor, his intelligence, creativity, commitment and thirst for knowledge. He loved life, his family, his home, '55 Chevys, and his very special friends. A Memorial service will be held Saturday, January 8, 2000 at 2:00 p.m. in the Palm Chapel of Strong-Thorne Mortuary, 1100 Coal Ave. SE. Strong-Thorne Mortuary, 1100 Coal Ave. SE, in charge of arrangements.
