Obituary for Thul

Mary Helen Thul, age 75, passed away Tuesday morning, January 4, 2000, at her home. She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Adolph G. Thul; son, Bruce E. Thul and wife, Margarita A. Pardo; and daughter, Linda R. Hale of Albuquerque; and grandsons, Michael D. Hale, Keith W. Hale, and Jimmy L. Pardo-Thul; and granddaughters, Tia R. Pardo-Thul and Jessica A. Pardo-Thul. She is also survived by her sister, Robert Joan Grady and Patricia Ann Greer; and brother-in-law, Tom Grady Jr. of Roswell; four nieces, two nephews, three grandnieces and four grandnephews. Mary was preceded in death by her father, Horace E. Flurry; mother, Ruby Lena Robinson Flurry; and brother-in-law, Ralph G. Greer. She belonged to the Order of Eastern Star Queen City #697 of Illinois. Although we will miss her terribly, we take comfort in knowing she's gone to her home in heaven. Visitation will be Thursday, January 6, 2000, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., at Fitzgerald & Son at 3113 Carlisle NE and services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Friday, January 7, 2000, at the Chapel of Fitzgerald & Son with internment following at Sunset Memorial Park with Dale E. Nelson, Philip W. Clark, Michael D. Hale, Keith W. Hale, Stephen J. Watkins, J. Randolph Grady, Joshua D. Nelson, P. Aaron Clark and Tom Grady Jr. serving as pallbearers. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the Alzheimer's Association at PO Box 89766, Albuquerque, NM 87198-8766. Fitzgerald and Son Funeral Directors, 3113 Carlisle NE, in charge of arrangements.
