Lawrence Conner, 90, died at his daughter's home in Albuquerque on January 3, 2000. He moved to Albuquerque in 1996 from his home in Marion, SC due to his illness and to be with his family. He was a member of True Light of Zion Masonic Lodge #399. He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Eunice; a daughter, Debra C. Samuel and husband, David of Albuquerque; and grandchildren, Lawrence J. Samuel and Davina M. Samuel, both of Albuquerque. Services are scheduled for 2:30 p.m., Sunday, January 9, 2000, at Wise Chapel A.M.E. in Marion, SC, with burial to follow in Devotion Gardens. Arrangements in South Carolina by Davis Funeral Services, 301 W. Liberty, Marion, SC. The family would like to extend their sincere thanks to Lovelace Hospice, Lovelace 4th Floor Acute Care, Dr. Charles Benton, Lovelace OR and Anesthesia Department, Lovelace Day Surgery and P.A.C.U. and the staff at Barelas Day Care Center.
