Obituary for Lancaster

Alfred Lavern Lancaster passed away Friday, December 24, 1999, from complications of diabetes and kidney failure. Alfred spent three years and four months in nursing homes with the last year and a half at Manzano del Sol, where he received especially excellent care. He is survived by Violet, his wife of 37 years; four step-children, Linda Hylton of Hutchinson, KS, Jerriene Grantland of Veguita, NM, Charles Keckler of Albuquerque and Jack Keckler of Corpus Christi, TX; seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Also surviving are three sisters, Rose Chambers and Pearl Crouse of Monte Vista, CO, and Virgie Pfleider of Canton, OK; as well as many nieces and nephews. Alfred will be remembered as a devoted and faithful servant of Jehovah God. A memorial ceremony for Mr. Lancaster will be held Saturday, January 8, 2000, 2:00 p.m., at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 9804 Menaul Blvd. NE. Sunrise Society is serving the family of Mr. Lancaster, (891-8200).
