Obituary for Smid

James Smid, 50, a lifelong resident of Albuquerque, died Thursday, December 26, 2002. He was born in Albuquerque on April 5, 1952. James graduated from Valley High School and attended NMSU. He was employed as a Railroad engineer for Berlington Northern Railroad at the time of his death. He was preceded in death by his father, Clarence; and brother, Vernon. He leaves to morn his passing his wife, Odelia; mother, Frances; two brothers, Ronald and Randy; one niece, Nicole Smid; and several brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law. Cremation has taken place and memorial services will be held Monday, 2:00 p.m., at French Mortuary, University Blvd. Chapel, 1111 University Blvd. NE, with Deacon Bob Lewis officiating.
