Obituary for Benbow

Eleanor L. Benbow, 71, a resident of Albuquerque since 1963, died on Thursday, December 27, 2001. Eleanor was born in Tampa, Florida February 8, 1930. She was employed at Furr's Cafeteria for 16 years. She is survived by her sisters, Mrs. Margaret Cook, of Tampa, Florida and Mrs. Jane Low of Marysville, Ohio. She is also survived by her daughter, Della Rector and husband, Jack of Edgewood, NM; sons, Joseph Benbow of Tijeras, NM, Michael Benbow and wife, Bea of Edgewood, NM. She had 12 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. She was especially happy being called "GG" by her family. A graveside service will be held at Sunset Memorial Park: on Thursday, January 3, 2001 at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, a memorial contribution may be made in her name to Sandia Hospice, 4725 Indian School Ad NE STE 100, MOM WE LOVE YOU!
