Steven Lee Sell Smith (Shortround), age 31, passed away December 28, 2001. Steven was born in Albuquerque, NM January 8, 1970. He was the beloved son of Fred and Diann Smith. Survived by sisters, Tracy Hoitt and husband, Mike of Edgewood, Anna Green and husband, Carl, Rene Piper and husband, Johnny, and Robin Smith all of Albuquerque; brothers, Rheudy Smith and wife, Karon of Portales, James Smith and wife, Eileen, and Brent Smith; aunt, Gloria Smith all of Albuquerque. Steven had numerous nieces and nephews. Steven graduated from Manzano High School and was very active in NJROTC. Steven loved to joke around and make people laugh. Steven had a love for Star Trek and Sci-fi, drawing and designing. We will remember him as a kind, loving and compassionate soul who always put others' needs before his own. We love and will miss you, Steven, very much. A Memorial Service will be held at Sunset Memorial, 924-C Menaul Blvd. on January 5, 2001 at 2:00 p.m.
