Obituary for Mascarenas

Richard L. Mascarenas, a longtime resident of California and formerly of New Mexico, passed away, December 30, 2001. He was born 13 August 1938 in Penasco, NM. He was preceded in death by his wife, Corrina Mascarenas and his parents, Anita S. Mascarenas and David Mascarenas, both of Albuquerque. He is survived by four brothers, Henry, Arthur, Wilbert, and John Mascarenas, their wives and many nieces and nephews. Richard served 4 years in the Air Force. After his discharge, he moved to California where he was employed by Northrop until he retired. A rosary will he held 7:00 p.m. Thursday, January 3, 2002 at French Mortuary, 10500 Lomas Blvd. A mass will be given at 10:00 a.m. on Friday at Our Lady of Assumption. Pallbearers will be David A. Mascarenas, Peter D. Mascarenas, Nathan John Mascarenas, Daniel A. Mascarenas, Alex Vallejos, Bobby D. Hundley, Matthew P. Mascarenas, and John R. Mascarenas. Honorary Pallbearer will be Bonofacio Vallejos. Burial will follow at Santa Fe National Cemetery at 1:00 p.m. French Mortuary - Lomas Blvd. Chapel.
