Obituary for Wirth

Anne Lorene Wirth has gone home to meet her Lord. She passed from this life on Tuesday, January 1, 2002. She had turned 90 on December 19, 2001 and had lived in Albuquerque since 1989. She was born in Peru, IA, in 1911. She moved to Denver, CO in 1933, where she met her husband, Walter, who preceded her in death in 1996. She is survived by her daughter, Donna Brown and husband, Glenn of Sequim, WA; son, Lanny Wirth and wife, Karla of Albuquerque; granddaughters, Celia, Rachel, Sharon and Esther; great-grandchildren, Zoe, Cody and Carli. Ann's career was primarily as a homemaker. She is well-known for the pies she used to bake. Services will be held Monday, January 7, 2002, at 10:30 a.m., at Chester T. French Memorial Mausoleum Chapel at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul Blvd. NE, with Rev. Glenn Brown officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be John Coleman, John Cox, Del Fessenden, Paul Hicks, John Pierce and Tom Swenson. Friends may visit French Mortuary, 7121 Wyoming Blvd. NE, Sunday, January 6, 2002, 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to Teen Challenge of New Mexico, P.O.
