Obituary for Maes

Frances "Fran" Maes, 83, a resident of Albuquerque since 1948, died Thursday, January 17, 2002. She is survived by her loving husband of 53 years, Manuel Maes; two daughters, Jackye Buhrle and husband, John and Linda Wildenstein and husband, Joe, all of Albuquerque; one daughter-in-law, Mrs. John "Wanda" Maes of Colorado Springs, CO; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and sister, Mrs. Chandler "Sybil" King of McKenzie, TN. Mrs. Maes was preceded in death by her son, John D. Maes. She was a member of New Mexico Realtor Association, American Business Women's Association, Naomi Circle at St. John's United Methodist Church and founding member of APS Clothing Bank. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to APS Clothing Bank-PTA, 120 Woodland Ave. NW, 87107. The family would like to thank Kaseman Hospice for their tender care of Frances. Cremation has taken place and a private memorial service will be held at a later date. French Mortuary, 1111 University Blvd. NE.
