Obituary for Secor

Harvey E. Secor Sr. 79, a resident of Rio Rancho passed away on January 20, 2002. He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Hazel Secor of the family home; one daughter, Dawn Jaramillo of Midland, TX; two sons, Jack Secor and wife, Lucy of Colorado Springs, CO and Harvey Secor Jr. and wife, Kathy Franchini of Albuquerque; five grandchildren, Mario, Joshua, Devin, Allie and Giovanna. Harvey served in the U.S. Army and was a WWII Veteran. He graduated from Colorado College and attended graduate school at the University of Michigan. Harvey was a member of St. Frances Episcopal Church in Rio Rancho. He owned and operated The Rug Dr. Distributorship for New Mexico since 1979. Harvey was a former assistant Boy Scout Master, he enjoyed hunting, the love of his grandchildren and his family. Service will be held Friday, January 25, 2002 at 3:30 p.m. at French Mortuary Westside Chapel, 9300 Golf Course Rd. NW (three blocks North of Paseo Del Norte) with The Reverend Leonard Lewis officiating. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the charity of your choice.
